Job Title : Elevator Mechanic

Location : Miami, FL (Company Vehicle, local travel)

Shift : 1st with OT

Pay : $40hr. - $50hr.

Job Description :

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on elevators and related equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, replacing or repairing parts such as motors, brakes, cables, and control systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls to repair or assist in the safe evacuation of passengers from malfunctioning elevators.
• Perform safety tests and inspections in accordance with local codes, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Communicate with clients to explain the nature of repairs or maintenance, providing clear and professional service reports.
• Provide recommendations for upgrades or necessary improvements to equipment.

Qualifications :

• Local 1 & 5 (I.U.E.C.) union elevator mechanics
• Local 71 (I.U.E.C.) union elevator mechanics
• Willing to sponsor union training for the right candidate
• 5-10 years’ experience
